Lip augmentation / Lip enlargement

If you are not pleased with the shape or the consistency of your lips, your charming smile and shining teeth lose their beauty. It is much simpler to augment your lips. There are two ways to do it: using autogenous material, or hyaluronic acid. This procedure also allows you to reshape the lips, not only to augment them. The effect is guaranteed for 6 to 8 months. Depending on the patient's preference and doctor's indications, one or other method can be used.

1. Lip augmentation with autogenous material

This procedure extracts fat from the abdominal area. Then, the fat is run through a centrifuge and re-injected in the lips. Local anaesthesia is used.

• visible effect: immediate for hypercorrection and 2-3 weeks to reach the desired volume
• possible adverse reactions: nodules
• maintain result: a few years

2. Lip augmentation with synthetic materials

Synthetic materials ensure an improved patient comfort because one stage is eliminated (the extraction of body fat). Lipoline recommends using RESTYLANE because it has no allergic reactions. Microinjections are made after local anaesthesia.

• one session lasts: 20 minutes
• visible effect: immediate
• possible adverse effects: bruises
• maintain result: 6 months
