Cellulite treatment – Lipotomy

As hilarious as it might sound, cellulite (fat deposits under the skin which create the so-called "orange peel" look) is the privilege of womanhood, even though an unwanted one. And this happens because women are genetically programmed to perpetuate our species and to survive in difficult conditions (cold weather, lack of food). Because of this, as thin as a woman might look, she is protected by big areas covered by a layer of fat. These deposits, change their structure due to feminine hormones (maybe also because of repeated attempts to get rid of them). Those deposits become more and more resistant to dieting and sport and also gain a fiber-like texture. Cellulite cannot be treated successfully by surgery because a complete aspiration on thighs and buttocks cannot be performed. Liposuction eliminates only the concentrated fat deposits. That is why specialists found a new solution: Lipotomy.

Lipotomy is a treatment that removes cellulite and also aids liposuction. After removing the local fat deposits, Lipotomy is recommended to smooth the treated surfaces. Lipotomy is non-invasive. It consists in a series of microinjections of natural substances identical with lecithin, dissolved in a special serum. The substance has the property of dissolving fat and of attracting water from intracellular area. This way, the injected substance makes the fat cell 8 times bigger, with the effect of melting the fat.

This is the reason why lipotomy is much more efficient than dieting or other techniques against cellulite. By dieting, the fat cells become like a "raisin" but they never disappear. When good conditions appear, the cells become "inflated" again. Lipotomy is made under local anaesthesia. The injected substances are great sugar eaters and this is the reason why for intravenous glucose is recommended for interventions on larger areas. One or more lipotomy sessions are recommended depending on the surface of affected areas and on how old the cellulite layer is. In between weekly sessions other treatments are performed - vaccum massage (STARVAC) and infrared sauna.
